Okay...

Well I'm back from the weekend. We had my Gran's funeral and I'm exhausted. But despite the circumstances it was nice to see my whole family together, even some cousins from the States.

Today I just wanted to share with you some of the things I've been working on even though I don't really have any knitting pictures to share. First of all the "Bones" sweater knitting is finished, I just have to finish sewing it up (man I hate this part). I did get that bonnet finished. Here it is modeled reluctantly by Miss. Roxie.

Last weekend I finally planted my little balcony herb garden.

I'm looking forward to not having to run to the grocery store every time I need some fresh herbs to cook with.

Thursday I finished printing some t-shirts for our Father's Day gift at work (I work at a Nursery School). I silkscreened #1 Dad and the children added their handprints. I think they turned out great!

Here they are drying in the sun.

As far as new knitting goes, I have another design waiting in the wings. Maybe when I get my vacation pay I will buy the yarn. In the mean time I started a pair of Pomatomus socks but I'm not loving the knitting, I think I'm looking for something a little more mindless in a sock patterns right now. I'm also working on a little scalloped clutch from Handknit Holidays out of some of my handspun. It's a nice quick project. I started it last night and I'm more than half way finished. I expect I'll have finished pictures complete with lining and zipper by the end of the week. Until then...
